Characteristics of mine wire rope

1. Round strand structure

PYTHON (PYTHON) mine wire rope is a round strand wire rope. In Germany, DMT (German Wire Rope Testing Center) recommend mine wire rope uses a round strand structure. Europe and developed countries also use the round structure.

2. Steel wire

Steel wire is a very important material for the production of steel wire rope. WDI company from the choice of manufacturing steel wire ore from the moment began to strive for excellence, to ensure the stability of the quality of wire rope products, to provide users with trustworthy products.

3. Hemp core

The main function of the hemp core is to support the wire rope structure to ensure the nominal diameter of the wire rope. At the same time, the hemp core must store a certain amount of grease to ensure that the grease continuously exudes from the wire rope during long-term use to form an oil film on each steel wire to reduce Direct friction between the wires. WDI company has its own hemp core production plant, through strict quality control and optimization of the production process, to ensure the fine quality of the wire rope used hemp core.

4. Grease

Grease is also called hemp core grease. For mine hoisting wire rope, this wire rope should not only have anti-corrosion and lubricating properties. More importantly, this kind of grease must ensure a certain coefficient of friction and is a special grease. Therefore, some people in China also call it Zengmo fat or Gopei oil. Hemp core grease is N113 grease of German NYROSTEN company, and all N113 grease is used by WDI company in the production of mining outline rope. The German DIN21258 "Safety Technical Requirements and Inspection of Anti-corrosion Materials (Preservatives) for Driving Wheel-Lifting Wire Rope in Mining Industry" is designed based on the basic principle of friction coefficient u = 0.25 and is based on the performance indicators of NYROSTEN N113.

5. Twist direction

WDI can produce wire ropes with the same twist or alternating twist structure, which greatly reduces elongation and is less prone to loose strands.

6. Two pre-tensioning, small elongation

In the production of WDI mine wire rope, there are two pre-tensioning processes. The elongation of the fiber core steel wire rope is within 0.3, the elongation of the steel wire rope is within 0.15, and the elongation is usually stable after two weeks of load, and there is no elongation.

7, long service life

WDI company production of mining wire rope under normal use can reach 50-600000 times the service life.

Because the service life of the wire rope is affected by many factors. Such:

(1) Installation of steel wire rope;

(2)D/d ratio;

(3) Number of promotions per day;

(4) the working environment of the wire rope;

(5) later maintenance of wire rope in use;

(6) Quality of lining and anti-corrosion grease used for matching with steel wire rope;

If these factors are not taken into account, it is unscientific to provide a useful life.
