Detailed introduction

The INTROCON belt detector includes two parts: scanner and data acquisition unit. The scanner is equipped with an activation coil and a measurement coil, and is powered by a data acquisition unit. The scanner width is adjustable and adapted to check the width of the conveyor belt. The scanner is placed above the conveyor belt near the end of the reel, and the distance between the scanner and the conveyor belt is adjustable.

The data acquisition unit is connected to the scanner with a cable of 8 meters, is battery-powered, and is equipped with 2 displays. The data is stored in the built-in data logger and can be downloaded using Wintrocon software after detection. Used to analyze data and write test reports.

The scanner is quickly installed on the belt before detection, and the detection can be completed at the normal operating speed. The system can detect the integrity of the steel core of the joint and damage such as damage and pitting of a single wire rope; it can detect the gap between broken wires in the joint.
